Kurt Bachman

Architect

Kurt joined the firm in 2000, with previous professional experience including custom residential and interiors projects, as well as large scale historical restoration and preservation work.  His long time love affair with beautiful houses and historical buildings began during his childhood in suburban Detroit, developed during his education at Oakland University and Lawrence Technological University, and grew stronger during his professional career in Detroit, Miami, Atlanta, and for the past 23 years here in Chicago.

That ongoing passion for historical houses has in the past inspired Kurt to volunteer as a docent guide at Glessner House Museum and Clark House Museum, both in Chicago, and as a board member at Pleasant Home Foundation in Oak Park, where he is currently a docent.

Kurt is married and lives on the north side of the city.
